SFU President Dr. Joy Johnson was sworn in during virtual fall convocation. Following an extensive community consultation and international search process, Simon Fraser University’s Board of Governors named professor Johnson as the university’s next president and vice-chancellor as professor Andrew Petter completed his term on August 31 after a decade of distinguished service.
