VPD Officers were called to East 55th Avenue and Main Street around 11 p.m. on April 12 after residents heard gun shots. The victim was found deceased inside a vehicle in the area.
He has been identified as 24-year-old “Chirag Antil” who has came to Canada as an international student.
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.

Chirag’s family is now raising money through a GoFundMe campaign to repatriate his remains to India.
