Alzheimer Talk with Joti Sandhu

Little is known about the experience of diagnosis and care for those living with dementia. Different cultures have different perceptions of mental illnesses – including dementia. In fact people from the south Asian community are more likely to approach their GPs for physical than mental health symptoms. To start a dialogue about dementia in our community we invited Joti Sandhu, Support and Education Coordinator, Alzheimer BC, into RedFM studios.
