WHITE ROCK, B.C. – The City of White Rock has officially set Saturday, September 27, as the date for its fall by-election. This decision was made unanimously by the city council during its Monday, June 23, meeting, where Mayor Megan Knight’s motion to establish the date was approved.

The upcoming by-election aims to fill the vacant council seat left by Councillor Ernie Klassen. Klassen, who was initially elected to city council for his first term in 2022, was recently elected as the Member of Parliament for South Surrey-White Rock in the federal election held on April 28.
