Two young individuals have been arrested following a robbery that occurred in Moody Park, New Westminster.
The New Westminster Police Department (NWPD) received a report from a parent at approximately 5:30 p.m. on October 26th that their child had been the victim of a robbery in Moody Park.
Officers learned that the child, who is under the age of 16, was grabbed from behind by two other youth who demanded money. Police attended the scene and quickly determined that one of the suspects was known to the victim.
Authorities located and identified both suspects nearby. They were arrested for robbery and later released to their guardians.
Authorities stated that the police investigation into the matter is ongoing.
