Two persons were injured and hospitalized following a crash on the Pattullo Bridge Sunday night.
The Surrey Police Service (SPS) is investigating the collision, which occurred on the Bridge.
According to SPS, emergency crews — including police, firefighters, and the province’s emergency health services — responded around 8:35 p.m. to a two-vehicle crash near Pattullo Bridge and King George Boulevard.
In a statement, Sgt. Tige Pollock said, “A male and a female were treated for their injuries at the scene and transported to hospital in serious condition.”
As a result of the crash, two eastbound lanes were closed for several hours.
The SPS said further information about the incident will be released at a later time.
