Two individuals have tragically died following a residential fire that broke out in Prince George on Friday.
Prince George RCMP were alerted to the blaze at 2:23 p.m., with Prince George Fire Rescue already responding to the scene at the corner of Strathcona Avenue and Quince Street.
Authorities have confirmed the fatalities, adding that the fire is not considered suspicious. The BC Coroners Service has taken over the investigation. Further inquiries regarding the incident should be directed to their office. No additional details are available at this time.
