Two people have sustained life-threatening injuries following a serious multi-vehicle collision involving a tractor-trailer and two passenger vehicles in Surrey. According to the Surrey RCMP, the accident occurred yesterday evening at approximately 5:20 PM near the intersection of 32nd Avenue and 194th Street.
Emergency responders transported three occupants from the two smaller vehicles to a local hospital. Officials confirmed that two of the victims remain in critical condition, though no further updates regarding their medical status have been released at this time. The driver of the tractor-trailer was reported to be uninjured in the crash.
The severity of the incident led to the immediate closure of 32nd Avenue between 194th and 196th Streets as collision investigators processed the scene. While the road has since been managed, Surrey police stated that the exact cause of the accident remains under investigation.
