U.S. President Donald Trump has revoked the Secret Service protection for Kamala Harris that was extended by an undisclosed order from former President Joe Biden.

According to a letter reviewed by CNN, Trump officially canceled the former Vice-President’s protection on Thursday.

Federal law grants former presidents lifetime Secret Service protection, while former vice-presidents receive six months of protection after leaving office. Harris’s protection period ended on July 21. However, her security detail had been extended for an additional year by a directive signed by Biden shortly before he left office. This directive was not made public until now.

In a letter titled “Memorandum for the Secretary of Homeland Security,” dated Thursday, Trump formally revoked that undisclosed order.
