White Rock RCMP say three individuals were taken into custody on Tuesday evening in connection with what police described as a “serious incident.”
According to White Rock police spokesperson Chantal Sears, officers were called to the area near Thrift Avenue and George Street shortly after 5:30 p.m.
“A serious incident is unfolding. Officers are on scene and assessing,” Sears said in a statement.
Police confirmed that an Emergency Response Team (ERT) was deployed to the area.
While no further details have been released at this time, authorities have confirmed that no injuries were reported.
