The RED FM Walk & Run is Saturday September 15th, 2018 at Bear Creek Park, Surrey


About

The purpose of this event is to bring the community together, to promote health and to raise money for a great cause. The RED FM Walk & Run is a 2k walk & 10k run through the beautiful walking trails of Bear Creek Park.

Please come to Bear Creek park on 15th Sept, 2018 between 7:30am to 9:15am to register.

About

The well-marked course will take you through the running trails of Bear Creek Park. Walkers will do 5 laps of the oval running track to complete 2k. There will be course marshals at virtually every turn as well as 3 water stations and first aid on the course.

*Running any distance or any number of laps is encouraged in the spirit of being healthy and just enjoying the experience. Therefore completing a full 2k or 10k course is not mandatory.

For more than 60 years, The Centre for Child Development has been helping children with special needs reach their potential. Their team of 100+ staff provide therapeutic services each year to more than 2,700 children. Their professionals include: paediatric psychologists, family service and key workers, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physiotherapists, early childhood educators, supported child development specialists, recreation specialists, dietician, doctor, victims services workers, social workers and police.
