How to Enter:
Live Broadcasts:
You can register at any live broadcast from Friday March 17th 2023 to Friday, April 21st, 2023. Those who join us in person during our live broadcasts will be awarded one (1) contest entry per person! At the end of each live broadcast, we’ll randomly select one (1) ballot from those entries collected on that live broadcast. The 1 ballot chosen at the end of each live broadcast will instantly become a contest finalist.
BONUS ENTRIES
OPTION 1: RED FM Bumper sticker
If you are the driver of your vehicle and show the RED FM street team member that you have a RED FM bumper sticker on your vehicle or have one placed on at the live on location you will receive an additional two contest entry ballots to make the total of entries three.
OPTION 2: Mail in Ballot
You can download and mail in the ballot below for your chance to receive an additional three entries for that week’s live on location. Please fill out all the information required correctly and all ballots must be received the Thursday before the live on location by 4pm PST. Those ballots will then be included in that week’s live on location. If there’s no live on location that week they will be included for the next live on location. Incomplete ballots will not be accepted.

Full Contest Details:
The RED FM Bumper Sticker Contest (hereby referred to as “the contest”) will run from Friday March 17th to Saturday, April 22nd, 2023. Contest entries will be accepted at all live broadcasts before April 22nd 2023.
Contest participants may only become contest finalists at designated live broadcasts, at the Vancouver Vaisakhi and Surrey Vaisakhi Nagar Kirtan.
Each live broadcast will have a draw box. Contest participants who are 19 years and older and have Canadian Government issued Photo Identification are eligible to enter the contest. One contest entry will be drawn immediately after each live broadcast from the entry ballots submitted on that day, the name on that ballot will instantly become a contest finalist. Ballot collecting for each live broadcast draw will only take place during that specific live broadcast time frame. Remaining ballots collected at each live broadcast will be shredded.

Contest participants who put a Red FM bumper sticker on their car or already have a Red FM bumper sticker on their car at each live broadcast will receive additional contest bonus entries.
*Winners of a previous year Red FM Car Giveaway Contest or Diwali Giveaway Contest as are not eligible to participate in the contest*
*Staff and immediate family members of the business where the live broadcast is taking place are not eligible to participate during that specific live broadcast, but are more than welcome to enter at other live broadcasts *
*Participants are welcome to enter the contest at every live broadcast unless they have already become a finalist. Previous year’s contest finalists are welcome to participate.

- This contest will run from March 17th – April 22nd, 2023 only.
- NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
- Prizes are non-negotiable.
- To claim the grand prize the winner will be required to correctly answer a mathematical skill testing question and must pay for insuring the vehicle and pay for all taxes and any other fees associated with the legal transfer of the Grand Prize Car.
- All contestants must be at least 19 years of age and provide Canadian Government Issued Photo identification when entering and participating in this contest, no exceptions will be made.
- Red FM reserves the right to use all contestant’s names, images and recorded media in any format for our own purposes indefinitely.
- Red FM is not responsible for any technical problems incurred during the course of the contest by the contestant, Red FM, sponsors or any participants including but not limited to phone and computer problems.
- Red FM will use its sole discretion in determining if contest participants qualify.
- The contest rules may be subject to change at any time exclusively by Red FM.
- Red FM Staff, immediate family, sponsors and affiliates are not qualified to participate in this contest. *Definition of eligibility identified in eligibility section following.

Eligibility: The Contest is open to 19 years and older participants who have Canadian Government Issued Photo identification. Employees of Red FM, Sponsors and the immediate family members of, or any persons domiciled with, any such employees, are not eligible to enter or to win. The term “immediate family members” includes spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren.
Technical Difficulties: Red FM and contest Sponsors will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected or illegible entries “or for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or Red FM, sponsors, contest sponsors or affiliates. Red FM reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the contest. All entries become property of Red FM and none will be returned.
ENTRIES: Red FM reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of REDFM and its directors, officers, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies, divisions and subsidiaries, corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way. Entrants agree to abide by the contest rules and the decisions of the contest judges, which are final.
Winner Selection: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will be determined on Saturday, April 22nd 2023, live on the Red FM stage at the Vaisakhi festival in Surrey. Finalists must be checked in and registered for the final draw at the Red FM stage by 11:30am on Saturday, April 22nd 2023. The contest will be held on the corner of 128th street & 84th ave in Surrey, unless otherwise advised by Red FM. Those finalists who are not present and accounted for by 11:30am forfeit any claim to participate and will be disqualified.
Bonus Draws: Two finalists will be drawn live on April 15th during Vancouver Vaisakhi and two finalists also will be drawn live on Saturday, April 22nd 2023 on the Red FM stage at the Surrey Vaisakhi celebration. When a contestants name is drawn, they will only have 30 seconds from the moment their name is announced to present themselves to a Red FM staff member on the Red FM stage. If not present within 30 seconds, that person will forfeit any claim to participate and will be disqualified without recourse. Each time a participant’s name is drawn; they will be given a 30 second window to present themselves to a Red FM staff member. No other name will be drawn in that 30-second window. A prize will not be substituted for the opportunity to participate.
The contest finalists whose names are drawn at both Vaisakhi festivals will automatically become contest finalists and be eligible to win the Grand prize.
Opportunity to participate is non-transferable.
Prizes and Odds: Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive the giveaway car. The prize car will be provided “as is” with current mileage and condition at time of winning.
Grand prize contest winner is solely responsible for insuring the vehicle and paying all taxes and any other fees associated with the legal transfer of the Grand Prize Car.
The grand prize will be formally presented and given to the grand prize winner the week following the April 22nd , 2023 at the Red FM studio. Odds of being selected as one of the finalists depend on the number of eligible entries received and finalists who show up to participate at the final event. Grand prize may not be substituted, transferred or exchanged unless authorized by Red FM. If the grand prize winner cannot accept the Prize as stated within 14 days of winning, the Prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate. Grand Prize winner must pay for insuring the vehicle and pay for all taxes and any other fees associated with the legal transfer of the Grand Prize Car.
Participation: By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Red FM, which shall be final in all respects. Red FM reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this contest as solely determined by Red FM. In the event the contest is compromised by a virus, non-authorized human intervention, tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Red FM which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the contest, Red FM reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the contest. Should the contest be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, Red FM reserves the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date.
Red FM, its sponsors and its members, employees, agents, trustees, contractors, directors and officers and their helpers and assistants, listeners and other contest participants and each of them and their respective insurers, heirs, successors, assignees, administrators and executors (collectively, the “Releases’”) are and shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, personal injury, death or property damage, however caused, arising from my participation in the contest.
Contest participants hereby release, indemnify and save harmless the Releases’ and each of them from any and all liability, costs (including, without limitation, legal costs), claims, damages, demands, actions and causes of actions at law, by statute and /or in equity arising as a result of any loss, damage, personal injury, death, or property damage suffered as a result, directly or indirectly, of my participation in the contest including without limitation, as a result of negligence on the part of the Releases’, breach of contract, occupier’s liability or any other tort or cause of action at common law, in equity or by statute.
*Finalists will be required to verify comprehension of and sign a “Hold Harmless” agreement before participating in the final draw event.
The winner of the grand prize giveaway car cannot sell or alter the vehicle for 1 year after official possession date. The vehicle will have a decal on the rear side of the vehicle that says “I won this car from Red FM” and may not be removed from the vehicle for 1 year from the official possession date. The grand prize winner must agree to this clause in writing before taking possession of the vehicle.
General Conditions: Red FM may require Finalists to complete, execute and return Affidavits of Eligibility, Liability Releases, and Publicity Releases prior to taking possession of their applicable Prize. If a Finalist fails to sign these documents, or if a finalist cannot be notified, or if finalist is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these official rules, then the finalist will be disqualified and an alternate finalist will be selected. By accepting the prize, where permitted by law, finalists grant to Red FM and those acting pursuant to Red FM’s the right to use and publish his/her name, biographical information, statements made regarding Red FM, or the promotion (provided same are true), portrait, picture, voice and likeness for trade, advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration, or notification, review or approval, worldwide, and on the Internet.
Limitations of Liability: By participating, entrants release and agree to hold harmless Red FM and its parents, affiliates, and subsidiary companies, advertising and promotion agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents from any and all liability for any injury, loss or damage of any kind to person, including death, and property arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the Prize, participation in any Promotion related activity, or participation in this contest. REDFM reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual acting in violation of the Official Rules; to be acting in violation of the terms of the web site, or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy abuse, threaten or harass any other person. REDFM is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by web site users, REDFM staff members, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion and assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or tampering with or hacking of, the web site or any technical failure of malfunction. Red FM is not responsible for injury or damage to participants’ or to any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in this contest or downloading or copying materials from or use of the website.
IN NO EVENT WILL RED FM, THEIR PARENTS, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES AND RELATED COMPANIES, THEIR ADVERTISING OR PROMOTION AGENCIES OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS, BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR ACCESS TO AND USE OF SPONSOR’S INTERNET SITES OR THE DOWNLOADING FROM AND/OR PRINTING MATERIAL DOWNLOADED FROM SAID SITES.
Arbitration/Choice of Law: Except where prohibited by law, entrants agree that: (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this contest, or any prize awarded, or the determination of the winner shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.(2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this contest but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and/or Red FM in connection with this contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Province of British Columbia, without regard for conflicts of law doctrine, and all proceedings shall take place in British Columbia, Canada.
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.
