The Surrey Police Service (SPS) is asking for the public’s help to identify a woman involved in an assault investigation.

Around 6:55 a.m. on October 28, 2025, a woman entered the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Surrey Memorial Hospital. She allegedly removed her shirt and made skin-to-skin contact with three infants. None of the babies were harmed. Hospital security was alerted and escorted the woman off the premises.

SPS was notified at about 1:00 p.m. and began an investigation, but officers have not yet been able to identify the suspect. She is described as a white woman, 30 to 40 years old, approximately 5’2″ tall, with a heavy build. At the time, she was wearing a black hoodie with “Essentials Department” on the front, dirty grey sweatpants, cream sandals, black socks, and was carrying a camouflage jacket (see attached photo).

Anyone with information about her identity is asked to call the SPS non-emergency line at 604-599-0502 and reference file number 25-94777 (SP).
