SURREY, B.C. – Surrey Police are appealing for public assistance as they investigate a serious collision that occurred earlier this week, sending three individuals to the hospital. One person remains in life-threatening condition.
The incident took place on Canada Day, July 1, at approximately 4:10 p.m., in the area of 120th Street and 97th Avenue. Officers, firefighters, and paramedics were dispatched to the scene, the Surrey Police Service confirmed in a statement on Friday.
Police reported that two of the three individuals involved sustained minor injuries and have since been released from the hospital. However, one person continues to battle life-threatening injuries.
The SPS Road Safety Section Collision Investigation Unit has launched a full investigation into the crash. Authorities are urging anyone with relevant information, dash cam footage, or surveillance video of the collision to contact the Surrey Police Service.
