Police in Surrey have identified a man wanted in connection with a stabbing that occurred in the city earlier this month. Authorities are warning the public that the suspect, 43-year-old Dino Sadi, remains at large and is considered dangerous.

The Surrey Police Service confirmed that Sadi has been charged with multiple offenses, including assault with a weapon, uttering threats, and assault causing bodily harm.

The incident took place on July 14, when officers responded to a reported stabbing near the 10900 block of 148 Street. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived, and the victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.

“Investigators believe this was an isolated incident between two parties who were previously known to one another,” the Surrey police stated in a news release on Monday.

Sadi is believed to be in the Lower Mainland region. Due to his dangerous classification, the public is advised not to approach him.

Investigators describe Sadi as a Black man, approximately 6 feet tall, weighing 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Dino Sadi’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Surrey Police Service immediately.
