Liberal MP from Surrey Newton Sukh Dhaliwal has presented a private member’s Bill C-239 which would require provinces to have an accountability framework around health service delivery in order to receive full cash portion of the Canada Health Transfer from the federal government. Dhaliwal tells News Director Harjinder Thind that the bill would make provinces more accountable and improve the efficiency in healthcare spending.
