Surrey’s Reflections Banquet Hall was the latest target of shooting in what appears to be another extortion case. Surrey Police Service has confirmed they are investigating shooting incident at a business plaza located in the area of 152 street and 66 avenue on Saturday morning at 2:30 am. However, the police was informed about the shooting Monday morning.

Reflections owner Satish Kumar, who is also the president of Laxmi Narayan Mandir in Surrey, told RED FM that the extortionist asked for $2 million. Kumar said he has informed the police about the call.

This is the second shooting in Surrey in the last two weeks that are allegedly related to extortion case. A Panorama Ridge house was targeted two times. After the first time, SPS installed surveillance cameras and on May 25 captured the suspect who was clearly be seen walking down the street armed with two handguns. He unloaded dozens of shots directly into the home on Coulthard Road.
