Amid rising public dissatisfaction with the Surrey Police Service’s response to extortion-related shootings, SPS Chief Norm Lipinski spoke with News Director Harjinder Thind about the steps police are taking to apprehend the offenders. Lipinski was also asked whether the surge in extortion cases stems from a lack of police resources or from communication and coordination gaps between police and different levels of government.
