Rogers Communications Inc. is the latest company to join the growing trend of calling employees back to the office.
The telecom giant announced that, starting in October, its corporate staff will be required to work from the office four days a week. That requirement will increase to five days a week in February. The changes will not apply to front-line or production teams.
Rogers spokesperson Zac Carreiro said the gradual rollout is intended to give employees and their families time to adapt.
Rogers isn’t alone in scaling back hybrid work policies. Earlier this week, TD Bank also asked employees to return to the office four days a week starting this fall. Several other major banks — including RBC, Scotiabank, and BMO — have also announced similar return-to-office mandates for September, while Canaccord Genuity is reportedly shifting to a full five-day in-office schedule.
