LANGLEY, BC – The Langley RCMP has launched an investigation into an early morning fire that fully engulfed a home under construction.
Police said that around 12:25 a.m. on Wednesday, Langley RCMP officers responded to a report of a structure fire in the 19600 block of 48 Avenue in Langley. Upon arrival, they found the unoccupied residence fully engulfed in flames.
“We are working closely with the Langley City Fire Rescue Service to determine the cause of this fire,” said Sergeant Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP. “We appreciate the public’s patience, as there may be ongoing traffic disruptions in the area while the investigation continues.”
Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area between 11:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. and may have dash camera footage to contact the Langley RCMP.
