The Sea to Sky Whistler RCMP is investigating an assault that occurred at Whistler Mountain Bike Park. The incident took place on June 27, 2025, when three young riders were confronted by an adult male while biking. The altercation was recorded on a helmet camera and later shared on social media, which quickly garnered public attention.
“Our investigators are diligently gathering information to understand the full scope of the situation,” said Corporal Katrina Boehmer, Media Relations Officer with the Sea to Sky Whistler RCMP. “This kind of behavior will not be tolerated, and we’re working closely with Whistler Blackcomb to ensure the safety of everyone at the park.”
One male suspect has been arrested and released under conditions, with a scheduled court appearance. The investigation remains ongoing.
RCMP is asking anyone who witnessed the incident and hasn’t yet come forward to contact the Sea to Sky Whistler Detachment at (604) 932-3044.
