According to SPS, an officer driving a police vehicle struck a woman around 7:20 p.m. near the intersection of 152 Street and 64 Avenue in Surrey’s South Newton neighbourhood. Despite receiving medical aid from SPS officers, Surrey Fire Service crews, and BCEHS paramedics, the woman died at the scene.
