Authorities confirm that Langley RCMP is investigating a fatal collision on Glover Road that resulted in the death of one individual.
In a press release, it was stated that at approximately 1:21 a.m., Langley RCMP responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision on Glover Road, north of Highway 10 in Langley, BC.
Responding officers located a vehicle off the roadway on the east side of Glover Road. Sergeant Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP stated, “One person has tragically lost their life and another taken to hospital.” He added, “At this time, impairment [intoxication] and speed have not been ruled out as contributing factors in this collision.”
The Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) has been deployed to the area to assist with the investigation. The 7600 block of Glover Road remains closed while investigators are on scene. Motorists have been requested to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
