Two people are in the hospital and the Pattullo Bridge is facing significant delays after a multi-vehicle crash this morning.
In a brief statement, the Surrey Police Service said that police, firefighters, and paramedics were called to a crash on the major bridge, which connects Surrey and New Westminster, around 6 a.m.
“It appears that four vehicles were involved in this accident and at least two people have been taken to the hospital,” police said.
Due to the accident, the bridge is currently down to only one lane in each direction, and commuters have been advised to be prepared for delays in the area.
