Metro Vancouver has announced that an air quality advisory is expected to remain in effect for the Central and Eastern Fraser Valley on Wednesday due to high levels of smog.
The regional district explained that a combination of local emissions and the current warm weather has increased ground-level ozone in the area.
Metro Vancouver stated that the advisory could be lifted if there is a change in weather patterns.
This is not the first advisory of its kind; a similar warning was issued over the weekend due to smog and wildfire smoke.
