A 39-year-old man, Justin Bos, has been sentenced to 19 years in prison in connection with the deaths of two men in 2022. However, factoring in time already served, Bos will spend 15 years in custody.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) confirmed the sentencing on Wednesday.

Bos was convicted in the deaths of 30-year-old Cody Mostat and 37-year-old Troy Regnier.

Cody Mostat was found unconscious at a motel in Langley’s Walnut Grove neighborhood in March 2022. Later that year, in August, Troy Regnier was found fatally shot outside a home in Surrey.

Bos was arrested and charged with second-degree murder in both cases but was ultimately convicted on the lesser charge of manslaughter.
