Police in Surrey say they are looking for a South Asian man with a short beard, a black turban, and dark-colored clothing after a shooting on Saturday night that sent a man to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the shooting occurred in Surrey’s Bear Creek Park following an “altercation between two groups of people.”
Friends of the shooting victim took the man to the hospital for treatment, while the suspect fled the scene in a grey sedan. The Surrey Police Service says the incident remains under investigation and is asking anyone with information to come forward.
