Langley RCMP’s Special Response Team (SRT) seized eight loaded firearms, illicit drugs, and other contraband following an investigation launched in April 2025 in an operation targeting drug trafficking.

RCMP in a statement said that on May 7 with assistance from the Lower Mainland District Integrated Emergency Response Team (LMD-IERT), officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the 5300-block of 199 Street in Langley.

During search police seized a substantial cache along with eight loaded firearms including two long guns and handguns, four imitation firearms, a significant quantity of ammunition, body armour and various substances believed to be illicit drugs.

As part of the ongoing investigation, three individuals were arrested: a 41-year-old man and a 37-year-old man, both from Langley, and a 34-year-old woman from Maple Ridge.

All three have since been released and are expected to make court appearances at a later date, pending further investigation.

Sergeant Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP said “This investigation highlights our ongoing commitment to disrupting organized crime and removing illegal firearms and drugs from our community,” said Sharoom. “By dismantling operations like this, we are taking meaningful steps to prevent violence that are often linked to the drug trade.”

RCMP said the investigation into this matter is under process.
