Kash Heed says police behind curve on extortion shootings targeting South Asian businesses

Richmond councillor Kash Heed spoke with news director Harjinder Thind about the growing number of extortion-related shootings targeting South Asian businesses. Drawing on his experience as a former West Vancouver police chief and former Solicitor General, Heed said police have been on the back foot because till now they viewed the problem as a “South Asian issue.”
