Seven years after a 26-year-old Surrey man was found dead in his home, homicide investigators and the victim’s family are again appealing to the public for information.
Bradley Kline was discovered deceased shortly after 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 7, 2018, according to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT), which released a renewed appeal on Monday.
Surrey RCMP determined that Kline had injuries consistent with foul play.
IHIT says the investigation has advanced, with investigators “piecing together details” and identifying individuals suspected of being involved, but no charges have yet been laid.
IHIT spokesperson Sgt. Freda Fong said there are still people with vital information who have not come forward.
“It’s not too late to do the right thing,” she said.
IHIT issued a similar appeal in 2019, describing Kline’s death as targeted but not connected to gang or drug conflicts.
Kline’s family said they continue to grieve the sudden and tragic loss of his life.
“We’ll never know who he could have become or what future he might have built,” the family said.
“After seven long years without justice, our hope is fading. We are asking anyone who knows the truth to come forward so Bradley can finally receive the justice he deserves.”
Anyone with information is asked to call the IHIT Information Line at 1-877-551-4448 or email ihitinfo@rcmp-grc.gc.ca.
