Buta Singh Gill, a well-known home builder in Edmonton believed to be one of two people killed around noon on Monday at a construction site in the southwest part of Edmonton.
According to Edmonton Police one of the men who died was 49 years old and the other man was 57 years old. A 51-year-old man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. No further details have been provided by police. EPS says it’s too soon to say if the case is connected to a series of extortion investigations involving members of the South Asian building community.
