Surrey police service has confirmed that shots were fired in the business plaza located at 152 street & 66 avenue in Surrey on Saturday, June 7 shortly after 2:30 pm. SPS has said that the shooting was reported 2 days later today morning. Investigation is ongoing.
Earlier report:
A shooting or vandalism incident has been reported by many witnesses in the business plaza located at 152 street & 66 avenue in Surrey. The incident took place Saturday morning. According to the photos and video shared by witnesses, Surrey Police Service cruisers and officers can be seen at the site. While it seems the officers are canvassing the area, SPS has not officially confirmed the shooting incident yet.
There are some witnesses that claim it was not shooting but vandalism that happened in the business plaza.
Reflections banquet hall is situated in this plaza and damage can been seen to the banquet hall. There is clear damage above the signage of the banquet hall. However, it is not clear if the banquet hall was the intended target.
