From December 9 to 12, 2025, the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of British Columbia (CFSEU-BC) Uniform Gang Enforcement Team (UGET), in collaboration with the Kamloops RCMP Detachment, carried out a targeted, intelligence-driven operation aimed at disrupting violent gang activity and drug trafficking in Kamloops.
During the four-day operation, UGET officers were strategically deployed across the city, focusing on the North Shore and other areas identified through ongoing intelligence, enforcement priorities, and community safety concerns. These coordinated efforts resulted in the seizure of substantial quantities of illicit drugs, firearms, and cash believed to be connected to organized crime.
Items seized during the operation include:
11 illegally possessed firearms
1.75 kilograms of illicit drugs, including suspected cocaine, fentanyl, and crystal methamphetamine
Additional weapons and cash linked to drug trafficking
This enforcement initiative highlights CFSEU-BC and Kamloops RCMP’s ongoing commitment to reducing gang-related violence and enhancing public safety.
