Search crews have recovered the bodies of two hikers after a group of three reportedly fell over a waterfall near Kimberley.
On Monday, a GPS SOS signal alerted Kimberley RCMP that three hikers had fallen into the water near Meachen Creek Falls. Since then, police recovered the body of a 68-year-old woman approximately halfway down the falls.
In an update on Wednesday, Mounties stated that searchers have found a 35-year-old woman, and efforts are underway to recover her body.
Police added that a 35-year-old man remains missing and is presumed dead, with search efforts continuing to locate and recover him.
BC RCMP does not believe the deaths are suspicious.
