BLS International, which offers visa, passport, consular, e-governance, attestation, biometric, e-visa and retail services, has launched a new AI-powered service to simplify the visa process for travelers to and from India. This new system aims to provide immediate, 24/7 assistance, eliminating long wait times and call queues.

The new service is a significant step forward, making BLS International the first company in Canada’s visa processing industry to use such an advanced AI solution. It is designed to handle common queries and guide callers through the application process, documentation requirements, and consular services with a human-like interaction.

This technology is especially helpful for people who need to travel for urgent reasons, like last-minute business trips or family emergencies. If a live agent is needed, the AI service helps reduce the wait time by handling initial inquiries efficiently.

How the New Service Works
The AI system ensures that clients get timely and accurate information, even during busy periods. It combines innovative technology with the expertise of BLS International’s 400 Canadian staff members, ensuring that customers receive the best of both worlds: quick, automated responses and the option to speak with a human when necessary.

Key features include:

Instant Access: Immediate answers to visa-related questions.

24/7 Availability: Assistance is available anytime, anywhere.

Reduced Wait Times: AI handles initial queries, freeing up live agents.

The company has said this launch is just the first phase of BLS International’s larger digital transformation. The next phase will expand the service to support more than 22 additional languages, creating a more inclusive experience for a global audience.

Shikhar Aggarwal, Joint Managing Director of BLS International, stated, “We are proud to introduce the industry’s first AI-powered information solution. This service highlights our commitment to making visa and consular services more accessible and efficient for our customers in Canada.”

The need for efficient visa processing is more critical than ever, with a significant increase in travel between Canada and India. According to forecasts, India’s population is expected to take around 100 million overseas trips per year by 2030–2035.

Data shows that India is a major source of visitors to Canada. In June 2025, visitors from India accounted for 55,500 arrivals, making them the second-largest group of overseas visitors to Canada, after the United Kingdom.
