The Lawrence Bishnoi Gang has claimed responsibility for the murder of Punjabi businessman Darshan Singh Sahsi in Abbotsford and the subsequent shooting at the home of Punjabi singer Channi Nattan in Surrey. These two incidents occurred just weeks after the Bishnoi Gang was designated as a terrorist organization by Canadian authorities.

Police investigations into both incidents are ongoing, and security has been tightened for potential targets within the South Asian community. No arrests have been made yet in either case.

The responsibility for the murder and the firing at the singer’s house was claimed in a Facebook post by Goldie Dhillon, a known member of the Bishnoi Gang. (However, RED FM does not independently confirm the authenticity of these posts.)

In the post, Dhillon leveled serious accusations against Sahsi, claiming he was killed for allegedly refusing to pay extortion money demanded by the gang. Sahsi’s family, however, has denied the extortion claims, calling them an attempt to tarnish his name.

In a separate post, Goldy Dhillon claimed responsibility for the firing at Channi Nattan’s home, stating that the reason for the shooting was Sardar Khehra, and warned that anyone who works with the singer in the future would be personally responsible for their loss. Dhillon added that the gang has “no personal enmity” with Channi Nattan himself.

Police investigations into both matters are currently underway, and no arrests have been made to date.
