A woman from B.C.’s Fraser Valley has pleaded guilty to multiple sexual offences, including producing child sexual abuse and exploitation material.
Siobhan Kirby entered guilty pleas Friday to charges including the production of child sexual abuse material (formerly known as child pornography under the Criminal Code), sexual exploitation of a young person by a trusted individual, and using telecommunications to facilitate the sexual exploitation of a child.
The 35-year-old appeared via video in Abbotsford provincial court, sitting with her arms folded as she listened to the judge.
The court heard that Kirby committed the offences in Abbotsford between December 2022 and November 2023.
Earlier this year, authorities issued a Canada-wide warrant for her arrest, urging anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact police. She was eventually apprehended in Alberta over the summer.
