Amazon and Walmart say they will take down products from their online stores that seem to promote the Hells Angels biker gang.

The move follows a report by the Journal de Montréal that revealed shirts and caps in Hells Angels colors were being sold on both platforms.

Quebec Public Security Minister François Bonnardel called on the retailers to remove the merchandise, stressing that there is no place in the province for celebrating criminal organizations.

Among Walmart’s listings was a “Hells Angels biker fashion” T-shirt featuring the number 81 — commonly linked to the gang since the 8th and 1st letters of the alphabet are “H” and “A.”

Walmart Canada said the products, sold by a third-party vendor, went against the company’s values and have since been removed.

Amazon, which also carried 81-branded merchandise, confirmed it will take down the listings for violating its policies.
