ABBOTSFORD, B.C. – Abbotsford police are investigating a stabbing in the city that they believe was a targeted incident
Authorities say they received a report of the incident yesterday morning and found a 39-year-old man with injuries at the scene.
Police added that because the attack appears to be targeted, there doesn’t seem to be an ongoing threat to public safety.
Investigators believe an altercation occurred on Cannon Avenue before the victim was found on McCallum Road.
There’s no word yet on any arrests in connection with the incident. The Abbotsford Police Department’s Major Crime Unit has taken over the investigation.
