The Abbotsford Police Department is investigating a targeted shooting that took place at 2 a.m. on Monday in the North Clearbrook neighborhood.
Police reported that a house near Clearbrook Road and Balfour Drive was shot at. Officers quickly arrived at the scene and confirmed that the occupants inside the home were asleep and no one was physically injured.
The AbbyPD Major Crime Unit is now “actively working to determine the motive behind the shooting.”
Investigators are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or driven through the area between 1:45 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. to contact the police, especially those with dash-cam footage.
