Surrey Police Service (SPS) is asking the public for assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an assault.
The incident occurred around 4:35 p.m. on February 6, 2026, when a female youth was walking eastbound on 100 Avenue near 123a Street. A man approached from behind and wrapped his arms around her upper body. The victim managed to break free, and the suspect fled southbound on 123a Street. The victim was not injured.
The suspect is described as an adult male, possibly White or Middle Eastern, approximately 5’10” tall. He was last seen wearing black sweatpants, black and white shoes, a black hooded sweatshirt, and a black and grey plaid or checkered jacket.
