Prince George RCMP are responding to a shooting incident that occurred early Tuesday, February 3, 2026, just after 3:00 a.m., on the 2100-block of Redwood Street. Officers found two individuals with gunshot wounds, who were transported to hospital for treatment.
Investigators believe the shooting was targeted, though the public was not the intended target. Police are asking anyone who saw suspicious people or vehicles, or who has video footage from security or doorbell cameras in the area, to contact them.
To address recent weapons-related violence, the RCMP’s Problem Oriented Policing team has increased patrols focused on individuals linked to organized crime, aiming to improve community safety. The investigation is ongoing, and officers remain in the neighbourhood.
