Langley police made an unusual recovery last week and are now trying to return a significant quantity of new sinks to their rightful owner.
On Jan. 23, officers recovered a 53-foot trailer containing the sinks, RCMP said in a news release Wednesday, though they did not disclose the location of the seizure. While the exact number of sinks is unclear, photos released by police show more than 50 boxes.
Investigators have spoken with the trailer’s registered owner, who confirmed the sinks do not belong to them. Police say the items may be unreported stolen goods.
Anyone missing a shipment of sinks or with information that could help return the items is asked to contact Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200 and reference file number 2026-2477.
