Surrey, B.C., police are investigating a home shooting over the weekend connected to an extortion case and are also looking into whether anyone at the scene may have fired back recklessly.
The incident took place Saturday in the Bear Creek neighborhood. While the home was occupied at the time, no one was injured.
Investigators are examining whether firearms were discharged carelessly or recklessly by people inside or outside the residence. No arrests have been made, but police have identified all occupants of the targeted home.
