McCain Foods Ltd. is recalling several of its tater tot products nationwide due to the possible presence of plastic fragments.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) says the recall affects McCain Tasti Taters, Crispy Potato Bites, sold in 800 g and 1.8 kg packages.
The CFIA has classified the recall as Class II, meaning there is a moderate risk that consuming the product could cause short-term or non–life-threatening health issues.
It is not yet known whether any injuries have been reported.
