A 17-year-old male is in custody and has been charged with Aggravated Assault for allegedly stabbing four people in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
Police investigators believe that one of the victims was targeted in the stabbings on Wednesday evening, while the other three were bystanders.
All four victims—three men and one woman, ranging in age from 33 to 60—were taken to the hospital. The stabbings occurred outside a building near the intersection of East Hastings Street and Jackson Avenue. Police said the teenage suspect was arrested within hours at a different location in the same neighborhood.
