The Penticton RCMP has launched an investigation into a fatal collision that occurred during the GranFondo event on Sunday
According to police, the incident, which took place on White Lake Road near St. Andrews Drive in Penticton, involved a motor vehicle and cyclists participating in the event.
“Tragically, one cyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene,” stated Constable Kelly Brett.
“Two additional cyclists sustained serious injuries and were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment.”
