A motorcyclist was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries after colliding with a car in Abbotsford, B.C., on Sunday evening.
According to a statement from the Abbotsford Police Department, officers were called to reports of a serious collision at the intersection of Gladwin Road and Chilcotin Drive at 5:10 p.m.
The motorcyclist, who was operating a black Harley Davidson, sustained serious, life-threatening injuries and was transported to a Vancouver-area hospital. The driver of the car, a Toyota Yaris, sustained minor injuries and was also taken to hospital.
Both vehicles sustained “significant damage,” the statement added.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing. Police stated that impairment is not believed to be a factor.
