More than two years after disappearance human remains of Jordan Nande were discovered in rural Kamloops as police now suspect foul play led to his death and are appealing to the public for information.

In February 2023, Nande left Fort Nelson with local associates, and they traveled together to Kamloops. He was last known to be in Kamloops before his disappearance in March 2023.

On April 11, 2025, police received a report of human remains located in the Pendleton Creek area, a rural part of Kamloops. A subsequent search of the area confirmed the skeletal remains belonged to Jordan Nande. Investigators now believe his death was the result of foul play.

Staff Sergeant Jason Smart, Unit Commander of the BC RCMP Southeast District Major Crime Unit (SED MCU), stated, “The Southeast District Major Crime Unit continues to investigate Nande’s death, and is requesting anyone with information about his disappearance and suspected homicide to contact the RCMP Southeast District MCU.”

In 2023, police said Nande was “wanted on an arrest warrant and may be avoiding contact with police.” Details about the warrant were not provided.
