A 78-year-old pedestrian has died after being struck by a vehicle in South Vancouver on Saturday night.
Vancouver Police Department (VPD) reports that the collision occurred after 5 p.m. on July 12 when the victim was walking along East 41st Avenue. She was hit by the driver of a black Range Rover.
According to the VPD, the victim died at the scene despite life-saving efforts. The driver of the Range Rover remained at the scene.
Police confirm that an investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
